VinylPlus 2030 Commitment: Mid-Term Review

The VinylPlus 2030 Commitment Mid-Term Review presents the outcome of a comprehensive review carried out halfway through the programme. Launched in 2021, VinylPlus 2030 builds on more than 20 years of progress by the European PVC value chain and sets out the industry’s contribution to sustainable development towards 2030.

The mid-term review evaluates progress during the first five years of the Commitment and refines the programme’s targets in light of industry performance, market realities, regulatory developments and VinylPlus’ updated strategic direction. It was developed through a dedicated task force and broad stakeholder engagement with the PVC value chain, policymakers, NGOs, academic experts and international organisations.

The review confirms VinylPlus’ continued focus on implementation, circularity, responsible production, stakeholder dialogue and a sustainable transition for the European PVC industry.
